Themba Shibase’s art focuses on happenings in cities and these particular works are no exception. The theme of the series is coping in cities and car accidents. Shibase is based in Durban. His preferred media are painting and drawing.

Where: Johannesburg Art Gallery, Klein Street, Joubert Park

Date: 13 November 2008 – 31 January 2009
Time: 6.30pm on opening night and from 10am – 5pm on Tuesday to Sunday.
