Foreplay is a modern South African adaptation of Arthur Schnizler’s Reigen, more commonly known as La Ronde. The play comprises a series of 10 interconnected love scenes brought from Vienna of the 1890s into the vivid and distinctive world of Paul Grootboom's South Africa 2008. The scenes have been altered to fit specific South African situations, and although the circular structure of the original play has been maintained, here the adaptation revolves around the world of theatre, focusing on the two protagonists - the Poet/Playwright and the Actress.

Date: Until 14 March 2010
Time: 8.15pm during the week; 3.15pm on Sundays
