Backpackers Ritz offers accommodation for up to 70 people. Facilities include Internet, fax and phone, mail holding, luggage store, personal safes, self-catering kitchen, café, swimming pool, games room and bar with DSTV. Transfers from the airport and station can be arranged.

Accoustix Lodge & Backpacker Hostel is situated centrally between Rosebank, Sandton & Randburg. This accommodation offers easy access to theatres, sport stadiums, major shopping centres, authentic African restaurants and historical museums. 24-hr transport is available as well as arranged nights out to Joburg's hotspots. In-house tours in and around Joburg and Pretoria can be arranged. Facilities include a pool table, table tennis and dartboard, bar, pool, DSTV, DVD and video selection. Pick-ups from arrival points in Joburg can be arranged. Accommodation is offered to up to 60 people.

Lebo's Backpackers has two dormitories and two double rooms that accommodate 18 people. Lebo's offers township tours of different lengths on mountain bikes, taking in the historical sights of Soweto, and tasting local food and experiencing a local shebeen to enjoy traditional beer.

Gemini Backpackers Lodge boasts two dorms, (one for males, the other for females) which accommodate up to 30 people, as well as four double en-suite rooms and three double rooms. Free airport and railway station pick-ups are available, as well as a daily shuttle to the nearest shops. Email with free ADSL line, fax and a card phone are available, as well as a tennis court.

Bob's Bunk House is situated 10 minutes from OR Tambo international Airport, and 25 minutes from the central railway and bus station. Bob's is also close to shopping centres, pubs, flea markets restaurants and cinemas. Hostel dorms are available, accommodating 10 people. A single room, a double room and an en-suite room is available, in addition to catering facilities, a pool and braai. A self-contained flat is available for two people.

Accommodation includes upstairs and downstairs dorms, single rooms, double rooms and en-suite double rooms, which accommodate up to 70 people. There's a self-contained cottage for larger groups. Situated 10 minutes from OR Tambo International Airport, Brown Sugar offers a free breakfast. The entertainment area includes a pool table, games and under-floor heating, where you can enjoy sundowners, cocktails and champagne.

Car hire and tours can also be arranged from the lodge.
