Johannesburg is calling for the public to nominate suitable
candidates for its planned economic development advisory panel. Appointments
will be made by the mayor.
NOMINATIONS for Joburg's economic
development advisory panel close on 26 June.
The panel is being set up to advise the City's
executive, its member of the mayoral committee for finance and economic
development and its executive director for economic development, on matters of
economic development.
Nominees should be South African citizens
or permanent residents; preferably live in Gauteng; possess the relevant qualifications
or have notable experience or skills in economic development or related areas;

and allowances will be governed by the National Treasury guidelines.
Nominations must be submitted by 26 June to
the executive mayor of Johannesburg.
They should be accompanied by detailed curriculum vitae of the nominees,
including relevant experience and contactable referees.

why the nominee would be a suitable member of the panel. Nominees should also indicate
that they are available to be appointed.
