A People's Centre catering for the region has been established in Midrand to improve the City's service delivery.

Services available here include customer care, housing, trade licences and rates and taxes. The centre acts as an essential channel of communication between the community and the City administration.

Customer care is usually the first point of contact for visitors or callers. It handles general enquiries and complaints by telephone, e-mail, fax or face-to-face at the centre.

Brochures on the City of Johannesburg, maps and business directories as well as information on services, schools, restaurants, hotels and non-governmental organisations are available at the Region A People's Centre.
