Key focus areas

The City’s EMS has four key focus areas:

  • Responding to medical, fire and rescue emergencies;
  • Maintaining an emergency and disaster management control centre;
  • Preventing or minimising the effect of emergencies and disasters; and
  • Enforcing by-laws and codes.
