EEPING Johannesburg's residents and business fully informed is the key to building a vibrant relationship between the City and its inhabitants. The City publishes all legal and official notices, including details of financial guarantees it has underwritten, as one way of making sure its citizens know what is going on. This means that all local authority notices are available to the public.


Comment on amendments to by-laws

The City is planning to amend the Street Trader by-laws. Anyone who wished to comment on these changes [PDF, 75kb] is welcome to do so by 30 November 2008. A copy of the draft by-law can be seen here [PDF, 122kb].

Important notice
To all suppliers/vendors/service providers

Kindly be advised that as per regulations, the MBD/declaration forms are compulsory to all suppliers that are submting for quotations/RFQ's at the City of Joburg. The following forms must be filled in full and be signed:

  • MBD 4
  • MBD 6.1
  • MBD 6.3
  • MBD 6.11

These forms are obtainable at the following places:

  1. Points claiming forms
  2. 158 Loveday Street, Braamfontein, Metro Centre, Block A, 15th floor, (Ask for Ricardo)

N: B Failure to submit the above forms will lead to automatic disqualification of the submitted bid

Guarantee notice
The City of Johannesburg intends to issue a guarantee to the Johannesburg Development Agency.

 

Local authority notices
Notice is hereby given that the City of Johannesburg is considering renaming of portions of Loveday Street and is hereby calling for submissions/proposals. The renaming is in terms of the City's Policy on the naming of existing public places, townships and streets.
