City units

A number of units fall within the Office of the City Manager:

the 2010 unit, under executive director Sibongile Mazibuko;	the central strategy unit, under the directorship of Rashid Seedat;	the chief information officer, in the person of Patrick Mayaba;
the Johannesburg risk and audit service, under Mohammed Dukandar;	the legal and compliance unit, which is overseen by Karen Brits;	the public liaison unit, under executive director Khotso Kekana; and
the external relations unit, under the directorship of Lorraine Wilkinson.

The Office of the City Manager also houses a visitor and resource centre that aims to share the City's experiences with “knowledge tourists”, the Joburg Innovation and Knowledge Exchange.
