Other roles of the Office

THE Office of the Speaker is the appeals authority in terms of the Access to Information Act.

The Speaker can also be called upon to represent the executive mayor and the City of Johannesburg at various functions, meetings and forums.

In addition, the Office is also responsible for co-ordinating the Moral Regeneration Movement within the City.
