Recreational use of facilities

Eco-recreation facilities are available at the Johannesburg Water Northern Farm, situated in the Diepsloot-Dainfern area. Horse riding, mountain biking, bird watching, hiking and dog sledding are on offer.

The area consists of numerous dams, river frontage, irrigation furrows, rivers, wetlands and habitat for birds and small game.
