City services online:
The city provides a range of interactive services, housed on a separate web site. These services include problem reporting, accounts by email, meter readings, Regional Service Council levies, online maps and building plans. This site is run by a separate service provider and has its own navigation and help sections. To make use of most of the services, you are required to register online.
Search:
Joburg.org.za has a sophisticated search engine that allows you to search for exact words and phrases throughout the site, including the many available Adobe Acobat documents archived here. Specific help on getting better search results is available here.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is a simple .rss or .xml file designed to share news headlines and other web content. Instead of visting a website several times a day to check for updates, RSS brings the latest news to your desktop.
Joburg.org.za's feed is updated daily and can be added to feed reading software (called a news aggregator) to keep you updated with the latest news.
