Services

The various municipal service divisions for Region G cover the same areas as those catered for in other regions, but they are faced with great difficulties.

Some clinics and community recreation centres exist, as well as sports facilities, but they are limited. A provincial hospital is needed for people who cannot afford to belong to medical aid schemes.

The formal residential areas are well catered for in terms of schools, but there is no tertiary educational institution in the region. Community-driven religious centres contribute informally to welfare and social service provision in the region.
