The Banner Store South Africa is expected to bring new franchise opportunities in an effort to better lives and build solid relationships between [South Africa and China]."

Conceived by Jinyuan, Banner Store is a subsidiary of the Tiens Group, founded by Jinyuan in 1995. In a little over a decade, he grew the company, diversifying its assets and interests in the property, commercial and finance sectors. The company specialises in retail, tourism, finance, international trade and ecommerce.

In creating its wellness line, Tiens draws on China's 5 000-year-old philosophy of blending natural extracts with high-tech processing to formulate products that encourage optimal health and wellness. It began with the creation of Tiens High Calcium Nutrient Powder, followed by seven other nutrient products.

In 1996, the company began marketing these products across China.

Jinyuan is the chairman of the board of directors and chief executive of Tiens Group and Tiens Bio-Tech Group, in the United States. With a business spanning more than 190 countries and regions, Tiens maintains as its regular customers more than 16 million families and 50 000 franchised retailers across the world. It has subsidiaries or branches in 110 countries and regions.
