The City of Johannesburg is to spend more than R110 billion on the provision of infrastructure over the next 10 years, Johannesburg Executive Mayor Clr Mpho Parks Tau said in his State of the City Address.

The City proposed a 5,3% property rates tariff increase across all categories of properties. The public is invited to comment on the proposed rates tariff increases. Comments may be made in writing and submitted before 25 April 2013 by fax: 011 727 0189 or by email to RatesComment@joburg.org.za
