Brothers Size is an award-winning play by Tarell Alvin McCraney, an exciting new voice in American theatre. The story is set in the Louisiana bayou, where big brother Ogun Size is hard working and steady while younger brother Oshoosi is fresh out of prison and aimless. A simple circle defines a world that begins in ritual and evolves into a tough and tender drama of what it means to be brothers and be bothered. Flights of poetry, music, dance and West African mythology combine in a contemporary tale that explores the feebleness of freedom and the need to belong somewhere, to something, to someone.
