  1. To support economic development in the CoJ through property development projects and the promotion of property investment.
  2. To enable the CoJ to use its property portfolio effectively to support social development in the CoJ as efficiently as possible.
  3. To create and sustain the capacity to manage the CoJ's property assets effectively and efficiently.
  4. To maximise the financial value and returns of the CoJ's property portfolio.
  5. To develop specialised capacity and expertise in property management, development and strategy formulation.
  6. To maximise the efficiency and minimise the costs in respect of the CoJ's utilisation of property that is occupied and/or owned by the CoJ and the UACs.
  7. To actively support and promote socio-economic transformation both within the company and the portfolio management and development activities
  8. To actively support and promote BEE, social development and the upgrading of neglected areas through the JPC's policies on procurement and employment equity.
