"The planning that is currently underway for the development of Johannesburg will have a major impact on the lives of its residents. We invite everyone to participate in the process of developing and reviewing key documents to tell us how they would like their City to develop and to provide us with suggestions for revising policies and plans.” Said Clr. Ruby Mathang – A Member of the Mayoral Committee responsible for Development Planning and Urban Management.

Officials from the Development Planning and Urban Management Department will be in attendance to guide citizens through key documents and explain the strategies that are being developed and implemented. These are the documents that will largely determine where and how development will take place in the future.
