2008-08-06: Park & Ride services for the Argentina vs South Africa International Rugby 

The City of Johannesburgs Transportation Department will provide Park & Ride  services  for  the  Argentina  vs South Africa International Rugby Match, on Saturday, 9th August 2008 at the Coca Cola Ellis Park Stadium, starting at 15h00.

Rugby fans are encouraged to make use of this service as it is a safest, quickest  and  most  convenient  way to get to the match and back to the vehicles.   Through  this  people  can  avoid  the  traffic jams usually associated with big events.

Secure  parking  facilities  will  be  available at three venues, namely Bezuidenhout  Valley  Park  (Marcia  Street),  Wits  West  Campus (Enoch Sontonga  Street)  and  Wemmer  Pan at a cost of R20 per person. Tickets will be available at the Park & Ride sites.

The  Park  & Ride services will start operating from 11h00 and will stop two hours after the match.

To  avoid  getting  stuck  in  traffic,  be  wise  use the Park and Ride services.
