26-03-2014: The astounding antics of Anthony Ant

If you liked GOGGAS! you will LOVE "The Astounding Antics of Anthony Ant."
Your favourite gogga, ANTHONY returns with a brand new adventure in The Astounding Antics of Anthony Ant at National Children's Theatre (NCT), 3 Junction Avenue, Parktown from 17 March 2014.

The production has been made possible by part of a grant of R3 million from the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund (NLDTF).

This delightful and joyous school holiday production dramatizes the timeless tale of South African renowned children's author Pieter Scholtz. The Astounding Antics of Anthony Ant promises to be a rollercoaster ride of love and adventure, made even more thrilling by popular songs like JIKA, VIA ORLANDO and even a little Kurt Darren - thrown in to ensure there are toe-tapping-sing-along songs for every South African and especially those who love Mzansi!

Join ANT on his quest to save the ant colony from a mysterious poison that threatens everyone and the environment! This South African "mission impossible" introduces new characters: SYBIL-ANT, ARROG-ANT and the beautiful ANT-TOINETTE.

Directed and staged by Francois Theron, with musical supervision by Lolly Sonmez, Choreographer by Shelley Adriaanzen, costume design by Sarah Roberts, set design by Stan Knight and lighting by Jane Gosnell.

This is interactive edutainment at its best, inviting the audience to participate in an Ant adventure.
A theatrical treat for the whole family.

After every performance the audience will have the opportunity to meet ANTHONY and his friends and have a photographs taken together.
