The Johannesburg Social Housing Company (Joshco) has finally delivered the much-anticipated 502 units as part of the Dobsonville Social Housing Project and will next week be open for the public to apply.
As part of bringing services closer to the people, Joshco and the City of Johannesburg’s Housing department will pilot a community-based Helpdesk from Monday 15 July until Saturday 20 July 2019.

The Helpdesk is intended to provide Joshco clients with information and service support at their fingertips; provide a centralised resource to respond to queries; troubleshoot problems and facilitate solutions in real time. Through the Helpdesk, Joshco hopes to create easy access of services; ensure quality service delivery and improve turnaround times.
Joshco is aware of cases of fraud and corruption, which have been brought to the attention of its management. They relate to bogus agents posing as Joshco staff around the Dobsonville project.
Joshco aims to ensure transparency in all its processes by treating all applicants equally and fairly. Residents are urged to be aware of fraudsters soliciting money from desperate home seekers by promising to sell them units or allocate them in Joshco projects.
Residents are urged to immediate report anyone who wants money in exchange for units. Please blow the whistle against fraud and corruption: zerotolerance@joshco.co.za

Time : 08h00 – 15h00
