The Johannesburg Social Housing Company (JOSHCO) will open applications for the Riverside View Phase 4 Social Housing Development on 12 June 2026. The opening follows extensive preparations and quality assurance processes undertaken to ensure the project is ready for a smooth and transparent allocation process.

To ensure residents are fully informed and prepared, JOSHCO will host two public engagement sessions for residents of Region A ahead of the application opening date. These sessions will provide detailed information on:

  • The application process
  • Qualifying criteria
  • Required supporting documentation
  • Digital application procedures
  • Assistance available to applicants

Applications for Riverside View Phase 4 will be conducted through a secure digital system using a QR code. Applicants who may require assistance with the digital process will be supported by JOSHCO officials on site.

The application process is completely free of charge. No person can guarantee housing allocation in exchange for money.
