The Joburg Ladies Open is back for its 12th edition, bringing world-class women's golf to Randpark Golf Course in Randburg. Co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour and the Sunshine Tour, the tournament attracts top professional golfers and continues to grow in stature on the annual golf calendar.
The tournament officially tees off on Thursday, 16 April 2026, with the final round taking place on Sunday, 19 April 2026.
Among the elite players set to compete for the championship title are former winners, Casandra Alexander, Lily May Humphreys and Lee-Anne Pace. Over four days, spectators will have the chance to experience high-level competition up close.
For those planning to attend, here are seven useful tips to help make the most of your day at the course:
- Parking and entry at Arend Park Gate: Signage along the road will guide spectators to the designated parking area and entry point.
- Opens between 07:00 – 07:30: Gates open in line with the first tee-off of the day, so arriving early is a good idea if you want to catch the opening groups and enjoy a full day of golf.
- Food and beverages available: A spectator's village will be set up at the driving range, offering a selection of food and drinks. From there, spectators can comfortably head out and walk the course.
- Respect the game: Golf etiquette is important, keep quiet while players are taking their shots and always remain outside the ropes to avoid interfering with play.
- Dress for the weather: Bring an umbrella, hat and sunscreen to stay comfortable throughout the day.
- Free entry: Entry is free for all spectators. Upon arrival, you'll receive a wristband at the gate, giving access to the event.
- Download the Sunshine Tour app: Follow live updates, scoring and tee-off times on the Sunshine Tour app.
Nthatisi Modingoane, the spokesperson for the City of Johannesburg, says the tournament is a welcome boost for the city. “The Joburg Ladies Open is back, offering residents a great opportunity to enjoy world-class golf in their own backyard. It also creates opportunities for local caddies and supports tourism, helping to showcase Johannesburg as a vibrant destination for sporting events."
