Tomorrow, Friday 12th April 2019, the Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Cllr Herman Mashaba, will meet with all councillors from different political parties within Alexandra in order to address grievances within the community.
The meeting comes in preparation of the schedule IDP session set for the 15th of April 2019 were the Mayor will address residents on their grievances following recent protest action.
Tomorrow’s meeting aims to ensure a shared approach to the meeting of the 15th of April 2019 is developed so that residents’ grievances are addressed over the politicking which has characterised the protests so far.
Members of the media are invited to the meeting as observers. The meeting will then be followed by a question and answer session following formal deliberations by community leaders and the City.
