On Tuesday, 23 April 2019, the Executive Mayor Herman Mashaba will be joined by the MMC for Environment and Infrastructure Services, Cllr Nico de Jager, to launch the start of the electrification of Heavenly Valley informal settlement near Klipspruit.
City Power will start the R6,5 million electrification of 50 dwellings in the community.
The project also involves the installation of public lights.
Members of the media are invited to join the sod-turning event. There will be opportunities to conduct interviews and take photographs.
