Tomorrow, 31 January 2019, The City of Johannesburg Executive Mayor, Cllr Herman Mashaba, will meet with members of the business community to facilitate a discussion on the negative impact of a proposed 15% annual tariff increase, over the next 3 years, at Eskom.
Years of mismanagement and corruption at the state enterprise have slowed growth within our economy and increased the hardships faced by residents.
The City seeks to incorporate the views of the business community as part of its representations to NERSA, in order to prevent these tariff hikes.
