On Monday, 22 July 2019, the Executive Mayor, Cllr Herman Mashaba, the MMC for Public Safety, Cllr Michael Sun, and the Acting Head of Public Safety, David Tembe, will once again release the monthly Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) performance statistics.
The department has been compiling monthly statistics since September last year and the focus will be on June 2019. There will be a more in-depth focus on performance per region as well as feedback on significant cases.
