Mayor Mashaba visits new Zandspruit housing development

Today, the Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg Cllr Herman Mashaba will visit the beginning of a new development of 701 housing units in Zandspruit. On full completion, the entire project is expected to yield up to 3000 units through the construction of further walk-up units. The Mayor will be joined by the MMC for Housing, Cllr Meshack van Wyk.

The Zandspruit community is most affected in the urgent need for the provision of housing.

The oversight ensures that all processes planned for the Extensions 83, 84 and 85 are followed to enable the multi-party government to deliver services effectively.

There will be opportunities for the media take pictures and conduct interviews.
