Tomorrow, Tuesday, 15 October, the MMC for Housing, Cllr Meshack Van Wyk, will hand over a further 37 title deeds to beneficiaries of the South Hills Housing project.
This comes after the City of Johannesburg issued 38 title deeds to South Hills beneficiaries in August 2019.
The total expected yield of units from South Hills is 6 204, with 408 already complete. It is comprised of RDP units, bonded rental units, community residential units and affordable social housing units.
This development also recently won the Sustainable Cities and Human Settlements Award at United Nations 14th Annual Session of the Global Forum on Human Settlements.
