Today, Friday, 27 September 2019, the MMC for Economic Development, Cllr Leah Knott, invites members of the media on a walkabout of the three day Jazzy Joburg Market at the Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton.
The Jazzy Joburg Night Market is the daily build-up to the main Joy of Jazz Festival taking place on Saturday night at the Sandton Convention Centre – with food stalls, arts and crafts exhibitors and all the trimmings to be expected from a night market in a creative space; an outstanding opportunity for developing artists to share their music and talents at a fun-filled night market.
Joburg Tourism will be utilising The Standard Bank Joy of Jazz to partner with SMME’s for the second edition of the Jazzy Joburg Market from 27 - 29 September 2019. This is where the market comes together with jazz to give visitors a great welcome to Joburg - reinforcing Joburg Tourism’s #Welcome2Jozi campaign, which aims to emphasize the city’s positioning as more than a stopover destination.
