After two long years, the Joburg Zoo will once again be transformed, not just for one night but two nights of witches, vampires and all things frightening!
Come and experience ghastly ghouls, walking ghosts, zombies, scary & creepy clowns, a witches’ cove, a grim walk of darkness and fear in our House of Horror and Evil Circus on 28 and 29 October 2022. You’ll be tricked and treated, spooked and scared, a perfect place for the faint hearted!
Visitors will learn about the importance of owls, their population, the myths around owls, how we can save these wise creatures and their significant role to the environment.
Dress up as your favourite Halloween character and you could be one of 10 winners of zoo vouchers. Gates open from 17:00. Tickets are R150 for adults, R100 for kiddies and R100 for senior citizens (please bring proof of ID).
City Parks and Zoo employees can use their zoo vouchers and City and Entities employees pay R100 only. There’s free parking. Tickets are available at Webtickets on
